Cybele Blood has more than 10 years of diverse clinical experience with clients aged adolescent to senior. She enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families, and has a long history facilitating groups for both teens and adults that are educational and supportive, while also interesting and fun.
Cybele is effective in assisting individuals struggling with substance addictions, depression, and anxiety. She enjoys working with people wanting to tackle motivational issues, life transitions, self-care, improving communication, and gaining a better understanding of themselves and others.
Cybele has extensive training in compassionate bereavement care to respectfully support those affected by profound grief. She also provides trauma treatment to address childhood or adult traumas.
Genuine presence, deep listening, compassion, and mindfulness provide a basis for Cybele's therapeutic interactions. Only proven interventions and treatments are used which are tailored to each client’s unique needs. Cybele works with a variety of people including younger and older adults, adolescents, other health-care professionals, LGBTQ+ individuals, and high-functioning individuals on the autism spectrum.
Cybele’s approaches and modalities include person-centered, compassion-based, insight-oriented, mindfulness, somatic-based, narrative/post-modern, existential, motivational interviewing, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT).
